DESCRIPTION
An exceptional work by this Austrian director and one of the most beautiful European films in recent years. Amour is an intimate story about saying goodbyes and the dying of a beloved person. The two main characters are portrayed by legendary French actors—Emmanuelle Riva and Jean-Louis Trintignant, who assume the roles of Anne and Georges, a well-off couple of retired music teachers. Due to an unexpected heart attack, Anne becomes paraplegic and requires constant care; thus, Georges will do everything so that his dying wife could spend her last moments with dignity under his tender care. The role of their daughter is played by Isabelle Huppert.
