In her private life, she was like a femme fatale, always in an obsessive pursuit of love, which might be why she caused men so much suffering. Everything she touched on stage turned into gold. Dalida is not just a hopeful story of an emancipated woman, but also a vivid image of its times. Lisa Azuelos (1965) A French film director, screenwriter and producer, quite familiar with the world of wealth, popularity and hypocrisy. As a daughter of Marie Laforêt, a successful French singer whose career peaked in the 70s, she used her personal experience to tell a story of another diva, Dalida. Her film Quantum Love was likened to work of Xavier Dolan and Wong Kar-Waia.
