DESCRIPTION

Edgar Froese, bandleader of Tangerine Dream, went on a lifelong search for the ultimate sound. The constant search leads him and his band members to worldwide success down to the Hollywood studios of Los Angeles. In January 2015 Froese died, leaving behind a heritage of 48 years of music history. The movie uncovers previously unpublished footage, shot by the bandleader himself. The unique story of Tangerine Dream is reconstructed through several interviews with Froese’s wife Bianca Froese-Acquaye, band members, close friends and befriended artists. „Revolution of Sound. Tangerine Dream” is a homage to the great musician Edgar Froese and the era of electronic music.
