DESCRIPTION
Vitek, the leader of physical theatre group, has disappeared in suspicious circumstances that might have been connected with his fascination with terrorism. During questioning at the police station other group members get to find out the truth about him, themselves and the world around them. The movie touches upon the issues of today's world, the danger of living under the threat of terrorism, political and personal approach to refugees and relation to Islam. The questions are how well can we know someone else and what can we know about ourselves?
DIRECTOR
Magdalena Łazarkiewicz (1954) Polish director. Graduate from Cultural Studies at the University of Wroclaw and Faculty of Radio and Television at the University of Silesia in Katowice. In 1977-1978 the literary director of the Jaracza Theatre in Olsztyn. Since 2011 artistic director of the International Jewish Film Festival ‘Jewish Motives’ in Warsaw. In season 2005/2006 artistic director of the New PRAGA Theater. Lecturer at the Warsaw Film School and the Cracow Academy of Arts MULTI ART. Member of the Polish Film Academy.FILMOGRAPHY
