DESCRIPTION
A short film by Lindsay Anderson, winner of the Palme d’Or award. The legendary British director portrays young, talented Polish actors, students at the National Academy of Dramatic Art, who attend singing classes under professor Ludwik Sempoliński. The songs, as performed among others by Piotr Fronczewski and Andrzej Seweryn, are juxtaposed with pictures of Warsaw streets, shops and waiting rooms, forming a broad, impressive panorama of the capital city of Poland in the late 1960s.
